Ship carrying aid to Gaza departs from Cyprus, World Central Kitchen says

A ship carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza has departed from a port city in Cyprus. This marks the first maritime shipment of aid to the war-torn strip. The aid dispatch is part of efforts by several countries to establish a maritime corridor for delivering assistance directly to Gaza. The ship, which was delayed due to practical issues, set sail on Tuesday. It is transporting pallets of food aid, including rice, flour, beans, lentils, and canned meats. The ongoing delivery comes as northern Gaza is facing a severe food crisis, with an increasing number of malnourished children.
